IABS DOCTORAL CONSORTIUM AND WRITING CAMP

June 26-28th, 2017

To be held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, in conjunction with the

 INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR BUSINESS AND SOCIETY (IABS) CONFERENCE

 

Conference Theme:  Business and Society: from ambition to impact



At the 2017 IABS Annual Meeting, the Doctoral Consortium will include:

 

     Individual mentoring on the development of your work, through detailed discussions with leading scholars in the business & society field – those doctoral students that participate in the Consortium will submit a full-length paper, which will be read by the mentors prior to the manuscript development session;

 

     Interactive plenary sessions that prioritize opportunities for doctoral students:

o     To set the agenda for the Doctoral Consortium, highlighting the most important issues for your research and career development;

o     To meet, and learn more about the research of, other doctoral students in our field;

o     To meet leading scholars to discuss the development of our field.

 

·      Informal social networking with IABS members, which include many of the field’s most inspiring early-career researchers and a host of our community’s most eminent senior scholars.

 

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

Doctoral students at all stages of their PhD are invited to submit an abstract of their thesis or a manuscript in development to the consortium. The abstract should be a 3- 5 single-spaced pages in length that includes the objectives and scope of the research, methodology, and findings.

You are also encouraged to submit a paper to the main conference June 29- July 2, 2017

 

IMPORTANT DATES

 

·       16th  January 2017: Abstract submission

·       20th February 2017: Notification of abstract acceptance.

·       1st April 2017: Full paper submission and final  registration
